Despite its promises, this TV fails to deliver on its mentioned features. It is affordable and cheap, but we can see the cost-cutting in this TV. Apart from this, there are several other reasons why we do not recommend it. Please scroll down to know them!

  • Premium design with negligible bezels

Design & Build-Blaupunkt Cybersound G2 Series TV

The Blaupunkt G2 4K TV comes with striking looks in which you will see almost no bezels. This bezel-less design gives a seamless look and enhances the viewing experience. This TV comes with a sturdy plastic body and a durable plastic stand. Moreover, with the hotkeys of its Bluetooth remote control, you can access Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and much more.

But it misses out on the HDMI eARC port.

  • 2 USB

  • Optical port

  • Bluetooth 5.0

  • Dual-band WiFi

Panel

Now, let's talk about the panel. You get an 8-bit FRC VA DLED panel. But the contrast ratio of this TV during the testing was approximately 4070:1. The brand claims HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision support, but actually, there is no Dolby support even on Netflix's highest plan.

Brightness

The brand claims its peak HDR brightness is 500 nits, but it was only 360 nits when we tested it. The Blaupunkt CyberSound G2 4K TV was short of its claimed peak brightness.

Picture Quality

The picture quality on the YouTube platform is good. When we saw the content of HDR10+, it was not that good because there were so many pixelated colors, which looked very bad. As per our testing, this TV failed to deliver the expected level of picture quality.

Blacks

The blacks are very good, but in some cases, you will see pixelation in blacks. This TV is not that good at showing you very rich colours. Furthermore, its HDR capabilities are also not that good.

HDR

The HDR content shows no details. Its HDR capabilities are not good at all. This is where the TV is lacking, so we do not recommend it to you.

Software

The Blaupunkt G2 4K TV has Google TV integration, allowing users to access their favourite streaming services and apps easily. It delivers you Google TV OS with the Android operating system.

Audio Quality

This TV supports Dolby Audio, Dolby Atmos, and DTS True Sound; which means you will hear crisp, clear dialogues. The Blaupunkt G2 4K TV offers 60W of audio. The sound quality is good, but it doesn't feel 60W. The actual wattage was 24 watts, which is not as claimed.

Verdict

The overall quality of Blaupunkt's CyberSound G2 4K TV is good but not at par with its vast claims. It claims to support many advanced formats, such as HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision; however, as per our testing, they do not work on this TV. We can see the cost-cutting in the TV due to its cheap price. So, we do not recommend purchasing this TV. We want you to spend your hard-earned money on good products only.
